We are taking dance to school!
The aim of this performance is to activate the body and spirit in a setting of opposites, as described in the book “A contrario ou la danse contrariée”. Two bodies move in parallel to each other, as if on two opposing pages of a book. Taking up playful positions, they face and reflect each other before creating coherent images of two individuals – connected by time, space, and the action of dancing.
The piece is an exploration of and by the moving body: What can give it all a new facet? A new point of view, a bold approach, or perhaps a surprising action?
A duet to be performed in school assembly halls or similar spaces for a maximum of 60 children per performance. We offer two successive performances to schools with at least four classes.
