With the Offensive Kulturbus we can offer free trips from the school to the theater and back again. Please register with us in good time, as journeys are limited and must be registered early.
FAQ for teachers
How do I know if the play is age-appropriate and suitable for my class?
You can use the age information in the programme as a guide. Please note that the age labelling, similar to the FSK, only specifies a minimum age and is open at the top. We would also be happy to advise you on which plays might be of particular interest to you and your school class. Please contact us at: info@purple-tanzfestival.de
How can I book tickets for my school class?
Send us an email to info@purple-tanzfestival.de with your desired piece, date and the number of pupils and accompanying persons. We will check the availability of tickets and get back to you as soon as possible.
Can we sit together as a group?
Yes, there is free seating at our morning performances.
How does payment work?
Tickets can be collected at the box office in exchange for cash (preferably counted). Please be at the theatre at least 30 minutes before the performance begins.
What do I do if I have to change my booking at short notice?
Please contact us immediately if a large number of children are ill or if you have to cancel your reservation for an important reason. This is the only way we can offer the vacant seats to other spectators.
How do I fill in my JKS voucher correctly?
If you would like to take advantage of the Youth Culture Service discount, please bring your JKS vouchers with your school stamp and school number. We will fill in the rest together on site.
How can we take part in the supporting programme?
For some pieces, we offer workshops and artist talks with the participating artists for school classes after the performances. Places are limited. If you are interested, please contact us in advance at: info@purple-tanzfestival.de
What is the best way to get from the school to the theatre?

Are your venues barrier-free?
Accessibility varies depending on the venue. Please contact us so that we can check the conditions for you.
Is there a cloakroom?
Yes, there is enough space to store jackets, backpacks, umbrellas etc. at all venues.
Do we need to bring anything?
- Cash (preferably counted out) for your reserved tickets
- If you are using the JugendKulturService discount, your JKS certificate with school stamp and school number
- Your students do not need sportswear or trainers to take part in our supporting programme
Are we allowed to take photographs or film during the performance?
Photography and filming during performances is not permitted.
