How can we use dance and simple movements to create a positive atmosphere in the classroom or schoolyard and thus facilitate a more enjoyable learning experience? How can dance be used as a means of expression to become creatively active together with children and young people?
This workshop is aimed at teachers who are interested in dance performances and want to integrate more movement into the school day. The aim is to introduce students to the art of dance and give them access to creative expression through movement. Through simple exercises, body awareness is strengthened to encourage teachers to incorporate more movement into everyday teaching.
In addition, participants will gain insights into the festival program and ideas on how to prepare a performance visit with their classes.
No previous knowledge is required.
The workshop is free of charge and will be in English.
Please register until 15th of January under: workshop@purple-tanzfestival.de
