Club Oval as a guest at PURPLE – Dance Battle

Improvisation talent and a playful fighting spirit are required here. Three teams from different dance scenes compete with their own choreography. Soloists have exactly one minute to blow the audience away.

The fusion of all styles is unique in its spectrum: swing, krump, contemporary dance, twerking, ballet, African dance, hip-hop, voguing, tango and much more. Since the dancers of the different dance styles improvise to music given by the DJ – funk, Classical, hip-hop and more – surprising new movement ideas and inspirations emerge. The winners of the evening in the team / solo / duet categories will be chosen by a top-class jury. The audience decides on the winners of the solo performances and is invited to dance themselves during the breaks.
